The Marriage of Figaro
Stathis Livathinos and his team after the success of the Iliad, a performance that received rave reviews, both in Greece and abroad, are embarking on their new venture, with an emblematic work of classical French theater, The Marriage of Figaro by Beaumarchais in new translation by Elsa Andrianou. It is one of the most interesting theatrical texts of the 18th century, a product of the Enlightenment, which was considered a harbinger of the French Revolution. It is one of the most important political works in the world repertoire, on which Mozart's famous opera of the same name was based, and at the same time a frenzied comedy with rare theatrical virtues, which will form the basis for an ensemble performance, based on improvisational estro, music and The dance.
